Eyes Wide Open - December 8, 2007
The Friends of the Light Quaker meeting hosted on Saturday, December 8, 2007, Eyes Wide Open, the American Friends Service Committee’s widely-acclaimed exhibition on the human cost of the Iraq War. The exhibit featured 148 pairs of boots, one for each Michigan soldier killed in the Iraq conflict, and 200 pairs of civilian shoes representing the tens of thousands of Iraqi women, men and children who have died.
